Magic Weekend

Adel Men’s 1’s had two games over the weekend with Sheffield Hallam 3’s first up on the Saturday and a highly awaited clash with Bradford HC the only other unbeaten side in the league on the Sunday. Saturday saw the arrival of a strong Hallam team with Adel giving a very warm welcome to their new goal keeper Matt Cooper by sending him into the Hallam dressing room after Jimmy assumed he was part of Read more

Adel 2s vs Ramgharia – The Snake Pit

After writing the match report from the reverse fixture (available to purchase – just message my PA), it’s safe to say this is just as gruelling a task as before. Many of the u14 & u16 boys already play in the senior teams on a Saturday. But the u16s still have a couple of tournaments left before they finish their youth hockey Read more

Business as usual

The mighty phwifths continued their magnificent 100% winning streak (2 out of 2 since 27 Jan) with a 5-3 victory away at Slazengers.  Given some of the other results at the weekend, this one won’t go down in history, but the 5s have now beaten Slaz home and away, and totally deserved the win. After an inspirational team talk (“we could win this one, or we could lose it”) the team flew out of the Read more
