Matches will be 2 x 25 minutes halves.

Short corners with be played with the usual Saturday rules.

Long-corners are taken from the half-way line in the corresponding spot.

Goalkeepers
Teams are welcome to play with or without a keeper. Where they play without the following rules are in place:
– No players can act as a kicking back
– 5 outfield players can defend at a short corner
– If a penalty stroke is awarded against the team without the keeper, then a goal should be awarded instead.

Umpires

Teams are expected to provide one umpire for each game.

Results

Results should be uploaded on a live score sheet that will be distributed to the captains prior to the start of the tournament. It is the responsibility of the 1st named team captain to upload this information.

A Whatsapp group will be set up for each evening to allow captains to discuss availability and in the unfortunate event a team can’t attend then the opposition can easily be informed.

Clubhouse

The clubhouse will be open for refreshments pre and post matches. We encourage you to enjoy the hospitality. Drinks can be taken from the bar to the pitch in disposable containers. Please use the bins provided.

Car Parking
Parking on summer league nights can be busy. This is due to the number of teams we have attending each evening and other sports going on up at the Club. Please be conscious that we are in a residential area and parking on the road outside of the club should be avoided. If there isn’t any space within the car park, there is a layby just down the road which you are able to park in. There is also the overflow car park which is on the other side of the cricket pitch (still on church lane). The gate to the overflow should be open on match-day nights. We encourage car sharing, the use of public transport, or walking/ cycling where possible.

Bikes can be secured in the spectator area.

External teams – your club may charge you but team entry will be sorted prior to matches beginning.
