Boys hockey at Adel is thriving. There is a conveyor belt of talent coming through the younger age groups, thanks to a hard core of dedicated volunteers on frozen Friday nights, which is fantastic news for the long term future of the club. The mighty phwifths continued their magnificent 100% winning streak (2 out of 2 since 27 Jan) with a 5-3 victory away at Slazengers. Adel 3s travelled to Huntingdon eager to make amends for last weeks loss. Despite some excellent results coming from across the Adel hockey club this weekend, it is in fact a week of mourning as something rather special finally came to an end. The Mens 4th team had been unbeaten since March 2016, accumulating 31 league wins, 2 draws, a goal difference of +129, from 157 goals scored vs 28 conceded, 17 clean sheets, and 1 league title spanning 22 months of sterling work from all our players.
