Welcome to Adel Junior Hockey
At Adel Hockey Club, we provide a safe, fun, and supportive environment for young players to learn field hockey, develop new skills, and build lifelong friendships. Whether your child has picked up a stick for the first time or is looking to play competitive junior fixtures, we welcome players of all abilities across our age groups (U8s up to U18s).

Free Taster Session: Try out a session with no commitment.

No Equipment Needed: We can provide hockey sticks for taster sessions—just bring shin pads and a gum shield!

Qualified Coaching: Fun, structured sessions focused on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Joining & Capacity Notice
We are proud to have a thriving junior section with over 250 young players in North Leeds. Because our sessions are very popular, some age groups currently operate a waiting list to ensure safe coach-to-player ratios.
We process all new enquiries as quickly as possible and will let you know about upcoming taster session availability for your child’s school year group.

Adel HC is a welcoming, volunteer-led club. The growth and success of our junior section rely on the enthusiasm of parents and guardians – whether helping out on the pitch, co-ordinating sessions, or supporting behind the scenes.
