ANOTHER SOLID WIN

With the freezing Russian winds threatening a frozen pitch, it was a joy to discover that the pitch was ready for the Mens 1s to take on Sheffield Bankers. 12pm arrived and a large collection of the squad gathered by the pitch to support the Ladies 1s and after they secured 3 points, we knew we had to do the same. Phwoars vs 4s

Another great weekend of hockey for Leeds Adel this Saturday with both our first teams taking convincing wins against their opponents, followed by the Ladies 5s and then Mighty phwoars rounding off the day with a 16:30 pushback against Halifax 4s. Buller Can’t Stop Scoring!

6th place Airedale were the unlucky folk to face table toppers Adel Men’s 2s on Saturday 17th February. Free scoring, tight at the back – the 2s went into the game with an exceptionally healthy (I should know I’ll be a doctor in 15 months) 27-0 February record. With Messrs Crocker and soon-to-be-Crocker away at a wedding (not sure if it was theirs) the team were missing there so-solid defender Ed, and that chap that Read more
