Adel Mens 4s at Home vs. Harrogate

Adel Men’s 4s hosted Harrogate 5s in the chilly 4.30pm start. With doubts over the fixture going ahead the squad were happy just to get the game in. El Capitan opted for the 4-3-3, a little out of the 4s comfort zone, and they stepped up to the challenges of a new formation excellently. Frost and cards aplenty

With Christmas approaching rapidly, it was wholly appropriate that the weekend saw frost and cards impact on the weekends hockey schedules. Pam to the rescue!

The ladies 4s team turned up at Adel on a dark and very cold Saturday afternoon to face Thirsk 3s. Adel dominated throughout the first half putting Thirsk under heavy pressure with plenty of shots on goal and some great runs down the wing by Emily and Millie. Stanners did a great job playing CH, helping Adel take control of the game and directing the play. Ellie similarly as the high FB did some lovely Read more…

Viking Landing Thwarted By Depleated Centurions

Finally after two cancelled fixtures the team gathered Sunday morning for a trip to Liverpool to take on Vikings IOM. The comprehensive missing list for the fixture included some big names Captain K.Blyth, Leadbitter, Bickley, Gannon, Wood and Hesselwood who was finally diagnosed with a broken back after playing three games following a fall. Love was to take charge of what would be a spirited and determined team effort with numerous players playing some Read more…
