L-R: Henry, Sam, Adam, Fin, Seb, Patrick, Ben, Tom, Simon, Dan, Kuoros, Charlie…. and Sholto Adel boys’ u16 squad held on to their place in level 3 of the Yorkshire League, after a tough final round of group matches on Sunday.   They now progress to the play-offs in April, with the chance to finish as high as 9th in Yorkshire. 3 points never tasted so sweet…

A cold morning at Fortress Adel meant that the Ladies 1s patiently waited for the pitch inspection to take place, and were relieved to hear that the big game against Didsbury Greys would go ahead. Angry Scotsman saves the day

Men’s 5s came away from Hallam 7s with a 1-1 draw, that could have been worse but should have been better. With Hedgie absent due to a forward roll-related injury, the 5s were forced to rethink their midfield diamond and their DoD strategy. The Abbeydale astro hadn’t been watered, and the ball bounced around all over the place, making our simple passing game impossible. And Hallam 7s have been riding high near the top of Read more…
