December 2020 Tier 3 guidelines

We have received some clarity from England Hockey, summed up as follows, and the graphic above available as a PDF here. Leeds Adel HC is firmly in tier 3 so we cannot travel outside of our tier 3 region (West Yorkshire) to train or play. We can play against other clubs who are in our same tier 3 region. Club award winners 2019/20 season

Mens Award Winners 2019-20 season

After announcing the ladies section award winners for the 2019-20 season last week, this week its the turn of the men’s section.  With 6 senior teams, competition for places and several teams finishing the curtailed season well up their respective league tables, choosing award winners proved to be a difficult task for the committee. Our annual awards are usually presented at the End of Season Dinner in May each year, where we celebrate success and award winners then wake up the next day and discover they have lost their deserved trophy.  Sadly lockdown 1 put paid to the dinner, and plans to hold a September Start of Season dinner instead were also scuppered. The pitch and facilities are now shut

Following the latest Government lockdown the pitch and facilities are now shut, and are not available for any type of hockey or fitness related activities until after December 2nd. As the committee did previously we will look to reopen the pitch as soon as possible when it is safe and legal to do so. The latest EH guidance can be seen here. Lockdown part 2 – implications for Leeds Adel HC
