Junior section goes from strength to strength

The junior section has grown year on year and the boys had a record turnout last night, which bodes well for the future of the club. We’ve already seen some great juniors come through and play in the ladies 1st XI so it’s great to see so many boys and girls playing on Friday nights. If any adult players fancy coming along to help out then you’d be more than welcome.

With the busy summer hockey schedule over, the attention of Leeds Adel Ladies’ 1s turns to preseason and the upcoming league season. SUCCESSFUL MIXED SUMMER LEAGUE FINISHES ON A HIGH

The 2015 Leeds Adel Mixed Summer League closed off yesterday with finals night. Under a beautiful clear sky, semi final 1 saw Leeds Adel (Black) defeated by Ben Rhydding 7-3. In semi final 2 Leeds Adel (Orange) defeated Leeds 5-3. The two winners progressed to the final, the game a very close affair with both teams exchanging the lead throughout. New Umpire Course Dates Available

  England Hockey have announced a new umpire course to be made available for anyone who wishes to attend. The level one course is open to anyone and will enable participants to umpire higher level club games, and potentially become part of the Yorkshire Neutral Scheme.
