Early September normally means one thing for hockey players, rain! As Adel Ladies 1s headed to Halifax for the annual North Challenger Cup, the sky was overcast, the rain bounced from the windscreens and the trees rustled in the wind. 2014 Challenger Cup had been somewhat of a double edged sword for Adel. Junior section goes from strength to strength

The junior section has grown year on year and the boys had a record turnout last night, which bodes well for the future of the club. We’ve already seen some great juniors come through and play in the ladies 1st XI so it’s great to see so many boys and girls playing on Friday nights. If any adult players fancy coming along to help out then you’d be more than welcome.
