Website revamp

The eagle eyed amoungst you may well have spotted the website has had a makeover and hopefully you will agree it looks more professional. Even better is that I have been working with YHA to get up date date league tables on our site, which has now gone live, easy access to the league tables direct from our own website now. Please let me know if anyone spots any issues.

Leeds Adel Men’s Summer League 2015

Following the last round of games last week (9th September) – we can announce Harrogate HC have won this year’s Summer League title! They were pushed all the way by our Men in Black, however their superior goal difference sees them top of the table. We would like to thank all the teams for taking part, and the umpires for giving up their time too. See you again next year! #ATID

Adel Juniors represented at England Hockey JRPC

Following our post last week celebrating the strength and depth of the Junior section at the club, we’d like to congratulate the following players on completing a successful Junior Regional Performance Centre programme where our club was represented throughout the 4 age groups. JRPCs provide regular training sessions where players will receive high level coaching on all aspects of hockey from JRPC coaches, with additional input from England Hockey’s Centrally Contracted Coaches (CCCs). Adel Ladies Lift North Challenger Cup

Early September normally means one thing for hockey players, rain! As Adel Ladies 1s headed to Halifax for the annual North Challenger Cup, the sky was overcast, the rain bounced from the windscreens and the trees rustled in the wind. 2014 Challenger Cup had been somewhat of a double edged sword for Adel. Season Opening Social

Cops and Robbers! The first social of the year will be a true test of pre-season fitness and endurance with the Otley run on Saturday 19th September. After a full day of fixtures the first beer will be in the club bar before moving onto Woodies etc. Girls have requested to be the Cops so by default the guys get the easy costume of a stripy shirt and swag bag! Ladies 2s off to a flying start as experience replaces youth
