Wet, wet, wet…..

A mixed bag of results this weekend with the weather making an intervention along the way too. The ladies 1s and Mens 3s suffered the same fate as a waterlogged pitch in Huddersfield put paid to any competitive action on the pitch and consigned the teams to a rearranged Sunday match in the New Year in all probability.  The ladies 4s were also postponed as opponents Bradford University gave advance warning of being unable to Read more…

Bradford 1’s was just below them in the league table with an exact match of 2 wins, 1 draw and 4 losses across the season thus far. Adel dominated the first half with a vast majority of play being in the Bradford defensive half. Maddie Bickley made her debut for the women’s side after moving Read more…

Leeds Adel Ladies made the short trip across Leeds (some via Hull) to play rivals Slazengers. Last week Slazenger’s men broke the 100% record held by Leeds Adel Mens 1s, this week the ladies were hopeful not to follow to the same fate. Slazengers themselves have enjoyed some better results so far to those of season’s past, and have been unlucky not to have a few more points on the board. Adel missing a few familiar Read more…
