Leeds Adel Ladies 1st XI See Out 2015 With A Close Win

This festive elephant happy with another clean sheet   Following two disappointing weekends of cancelled fixtures due to inclement weather, Leeds Adel Ladies 1st XI drove to the far end of the M62 for a game against Hull. Brrr……

On a day which saw horrendous weather conditions for players, umpires, spectators it seemed wholly appropriate that we went into battle against teams from Brrrridlington and Brrrrrigg. Weekly round ups have had a rest for a few weeks, but in their absence there has been plenty of hockey at Adel and this last weekend was no exception. The Ladies 1s double header is reported elsewhere, their 100% win record maintained in all competitions, their goals conceded the envy of the whole of the country and despite the arctic conditions, the spectator count continues to be healthy, although even Baxter resorted to a Read more
