Adel’s first home league game of the season had double significance, if the team could win it would mark their 22nd home league victory in a row and more importantly this winning span would eclipse the two year mark. The longest away game of the season and playing a team the 2’s often struggle against was the treat bestowed upon the Men’s 2’s on the opening day of the season by the Yorkshire Hockey Association.
