Lindum 3rd XI 1 – 4 Adel 2nd XI

Lindum Hockey Club was formed in the June of 2015 through the amalgamation of Lincoln Hockey Club and Lincoln Roses Hockey clubs. After a successful first season sharing purpose built facilities at the Lindum sports ground, members of both clubs saw the benefit of coming together to create a centre of excellence for hockey in Lincolnshire. The road to Hall(am)

Many thanks to the geniuses at Yorkshire hockey HQ for reshuffling the league this season, so that everyone now spends their Saturdays driving up and down the M1.  As Chris Rea once said: “This is the road to Hall(am).” And Chapeltown, Worksop, and Wakefield. This week it was our turn to play Hallam 8s, having been starved of goals in our game against their 7s a week earlier. A few of the opposition looked suspiciously Read more…

Massive well done to all the players who played out of position today including Holly, Amber, Ailsa, Amelia, Laura and Emily. Perhaps a new defender was found Read more…

Orange in action at the u.16s English HA Cup

“Tangerine Dream” (ask your dad/granddad)…..pictured left to right: Theo, Ben W, Finlay, Patrick(c), Simon, Adam, Ben C, Paddy, Max, Tom, …. and Sholto.   A huge well done to our boys’ u16 team, who finished third in their group of the Yorkshire round of the English HA cup. It’s the first time (in years?) Adel has had an u16 team competing at this level, and a good measure of the club’s overall development. Despite missing Read more…
