Unbeaten on Saturday!

For the first time this season the weather decided to intervene, meaning an early start for the Adel pitch clearing squad of Ball, Phillips, Jackson, Cockburn and Powley (who arrived late but did bring the coffees and biscuits).  The 10.30 game for the mens 5s had already been cancelled by an enthusiastic Andy Hedge who visited the ground at 8am but thanks to the removal of the snow the remaining 4 home games were able Read more…

Meet the committee – Head Coach Simon Ball

We are fortunate this season to have a number of committed individuals who give an enormous amount of their time off the pitch in organisational or committee roles.  Some of these people are up at the club 3 or 4 days a week at meetings, training with their own squad or coaching others. We were all drilled into our roles Read more…

Not all heroes wear capes….

This past weekend will probably go down in history as one of the busiest ever for representative teams from Leeds Adel HC. At the last count 17 teams donned the orange shirts and went into battle against a variety of opposition in league games, friendlies, social fixtures, under 10 matches in the YYHL, national EH mixed cup competitions and by the end of the weekend there were some tired and weary bodies, sore heads but Read more…
