Mens 6th XI Captain Needed
After 12 years hard graft Mr Poll has decided enough is enough and has stepped down as 6th XI captain. This leaves a massive pair of shoes to be filled, who is up to the task? Prospective umpires needed
Morning all, Last season we trained up umpires and I’d really like to get some more folk trained up. It’s then easier for the club to have more folk to chose from, and it will also improve your understanding of the game massively. So if anyone fancies it, please could they let me know. Finishing touches to the shockpad
The high and low spots are being resolved ready for the turf to start going down next week. We then need good weather for 2 weeks for the glueing and sanding so fingers crossed….
Out with the old, in with the new
The new shockpad is going down, the turf is ready and waiting. Going to be a great new season, at Leeds Adel Hockey Club here in Leeds. Lights and changing room upgrades are moving on a pace. Training has started, so if you’ve not been down pre season fitness is Thursdays and hockey on Tuesdays at GSAL until our pitch is ready.
Huge Thanks and Kudos to the work teams
The great news is that we have done it, the pitch is clear and I believe the contractors have started laying the new rubber shock pad. So on behalf of everyone at Adel Hockey and AWMA can I say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has helped and especially Sam “How Hard can it Be?” Ransley for the heavy machinery.
