The great news is that we have done it, the pitch is clear and I believe the contractors have started laying the new rubber shock pad.

So on behalf of everyone at Adel Hockey and AWMA can I say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has helped and especially Sam “How Hard can it Be?” Ransley for the heavy machinery.
Looking back at the figures doing this has saved us about £15k excluding VAT.
Without this effort we couldn’t afford the pitch.
But if you missed out, don’t worry, I am aiming to give the dug outs and changing rooms a coat of paint, so if you’d like to help out with that, please email me back and we can agree some time slots before mid Sept as it will have to be dry to do the dug outs.

We also are still aiming to update the floodlights and fix the heating and showers so the fund raising will continue.
The official pitch opening will be Sunday 28th Sept, if it is done in time there will be a turn up and play on the new pitch mixed 7s on Sunday 14th Sept.
Please keep an eye on our webpage and facebook for further updates.
