Come and join Leeds Adel Hockey Club!
We are a friendly club playing competitive hockey across 6 mens and 5 ladies teams, along with a thriving junior section. We are always welcoming new players.
If you are new to the area, not satisfied at your current club, or are looking for a more sociable and less stressful hockey environment then why not give us a try? With our club growing in numbers and strength, now would be the right time to come and join the Adel family.
What are you looking for in a hockey club?
We are now one of the largest in the region and have struck a great balance between offering serious, competitive hockey and a fabulous social scene; both on and off the pitch, we guarantee you a warm welcome.
We have our own Astro and Clubhouse at the Church Lane Adel War Memorial Association sports venue, plus the use of Leeds Ralph Thoresby School’s pitch to cater for our many fixtures.

Hello,
I am emailing on behalf of Leeds Beckett University in relation to student placement opportunities. We are currently looking for sports clubs that are interested in working with our students to help out with the coaching and running of a club. This is a great chance for your club to have an extra pair of hands to help out and for the students to gain real life experience. If this is something that you are interested in then send me an email and I can run through the processes. If you are not the relevant person to speak to then I would really appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction.

Hello
I’ve just moved to Leeds fairly recently and wanted to join a local hockey club, mainly just for training but wouldn’t mind playing the odd match. Please could you send me any pricing information. Also do I need to be a member before I can start or can I just turn up?

Pricing varies depending on age, employment etc, you are fine to come down to training on a Tuesday and see what you think before having to join! We can give you all the details on costs etc if you decide it’s for you.

Hi…. I’d like to start playing hockey again (I used to play county and club and then had kids so haven’t plaged for ages).. It’d be great just to come to training and maybe play some home games when I can. Would that be OK? Or do you need more commitment (!?). Thanks, Sarah x

Seconded! Ladies training is on a Tuesday evening at the club – if you aim to arrive from around 7pm there should be someone there to welcome you and help you out. Good luck
