It was the final week of the Yorkshire U14 girls league on Sunday and Adel had morning and afternoon fixtures with both our 1st and 2nd XI playing a 3 match round robin series in their respective leagues. An exciting day of Hockey at Adel on 25th February culminated in the match that the 4s had signposted since mid – December, 1st vs 2nd, with promotion, potentially a title on the line. Saturday saw the first of Adel’s teams secure their promotion this season with the Mens 4s achieving part one of their target with a comfortable 4-0 win over Thirsk & Malton. The victory secured promotion for Sam and his team and maintained their unbeaten league season having only dropped 2 points from their away game against the same opposition back in November.
