GRIMsby away

Adel Men’s 1’s returned after an extended Christmas break with a tricky away trip to the delightful seaside town of Grimsby. The trip was made harder by 2 late drop outs so the team travelled with 11 with coach Ben Hendley ready to step in if called upon. Banking 3 goals for 3 points

After many over sized meals, glasses of mulled cider, and days spent doing very little (or making chutney in Sam’s case) during the Christmas break, our first game of 2018 was going to be a challenge vs Sheffield Uni Bankers. Points lost but lessons learned

The Mens 5s continued their run of good form and bad results with a 4-2 defeat away at bottom club Bradford.  We have lots of reason to be unhappy, but plenty to celebrate too, including a great debut from Joe Hedge, playing alongside proud dad Andy and showing some nice skills under pressure.  Joe is yet another u14 coming through from the juniors to bolster the ranks of the men’s sides.
