End of Season Newsletter 2023

As another season comes to an end and we are well underway with summer league, we wanted to look back on the season, as well as sharing exciting plans and updates for next season. Back in November we kicked off our sponsorship of LAHC with Social Saturday – it was a great day packed with matches and fuelled by pizza and a pitch-side bar. On the day we launched our fundraising referral scheme – an opportunity for members to help raise cash for the club if they choose or recommend Vision Properties. SAVE THE DATE – SATURDAY 5 NOVEMBER

To celebrate the start of our club sponsorship by Vision Properties, we’ll be holding a Social Saturday event on 5 November 10.30am to 6.00pm.Everyone is welcome so please come down to support the club and join in the fun.   There will be five huge games of hockey, with two derby clashes against Leeds Hockey Club. Update on Hockey Activities – The Death of Queen Elizabeth II

Update 13th Sept 2022 Update regarding hockey & The Queen’s Death – No club activities will take place on Monday 19th September – the day of the funeral. – This weekend, games should observe a 1 min silence prior to them, and players should if able continue to wear black ribbon/ armband. – Saturday Night Lights – as previously noted – will not be played this weekend. Charity Bike Ride – AWMA Solar Panels

Leeds Adel Hockey Club is part of a collective organisation of sports and social sections that make up the Adel War Memorial Association (AWMA). The AWMA oversees the facilities at the club including the clubhouse, bar, and most of the grounds.
