Replacement Pitch Update

So for the past 5 weeks myself with help from others (you know who you are, so thank you) have been writing a tender document, frantically applying for more funding and eventually going out to competitive tender. The tender document was sent to 6 companies, 2 declined to bid. From the returns we short listed to two, negotiated and eventually selected a contractor on Tuesday. Deja vu as men recover from rocky start

For the second week running, the Mens summer league team had to fight back from a poor start in order to sneak a narrow victory over Airedale last night. Oranges (and Whites!) brave run ends as Harrogate are top Bananas

After many weeks of tense battles, last night saw the top four teams contest the mixed summer league semi finals at Adel. Adel had managed to get two teams to the semis (largely by virtue of entering 4 different teams at the outset) and both Harrogate and Ben Rhydding would offer strong opposition based on the previous games against the various Adel teams. Oranges and Lemons

Another Thursday double-header (or so we thought) with first up the Adel Mens Oranges game at home against Leeds. An interesting start to the evening with 5 teams present and all of them adamant they were due to play at 7. In the end it turned out that Harrogate had arrived early, perhaps to avoid the congestion and traffic disruptions caused by the Tour de France.
