Men’s 2s v Thirsk 1s

Absentee captain Edd Holfold deigned to grace the Mens 2s with his presence this week, after a scrappy but functional 1-0 win the week before. City of York 3’s V Leeds Adel 2’s

With an absent captain and an influx of new players the 2’s fielded 1 Junior, 3 Vets, 4 Debutants, 1 Cricketer, 1 ex first teamer, 1 national running champion, 1 weird guy, 1 sham and a hybrid powered Boag. Adels strong forward line of Harris, Moorhouse, Purdy, Ball, Stroomer and Watkins pressed high and created Read more…

Hello from the Club Captains

As our Chairman Mark states, we’ve not just enjoyed success on the pitch, but many other positive changes away from it – and that’s why we’re both so pleased to have been undertaken these roles. Many of Read more…

Home and Away fixtures this weekend 22/9/18

This weekend sees the first league games for most sides (other than the ladies 3s who were quick out the blocks last weekend). If you can pop down before your game or stay after to support other teams it really does make a difference. This is also the first time that both our firsts teams are playing together in same season in north leagues! At home we have 10:30 Ladies 3s vs Canalside Terriers 1 Read more…
