Replacement Pitch Update

So for the past 5 weeks myself with help from others (you know who you are, so thank you) have been writing a tender document, frantically applying for more funding and eventually going out to competitive tender.

The tender document was sent to 6 companies, 2 declined to bid. From the returns we short listed to two, negotiated and eventually selected a contractor on Tuesday.

The pitch will be relaid by Charles Lawrence who did the origional pitch. Current planning is for it to start mid August and be complete by mid September. The old pitch will likely be removed at the start of August.

For those of you at the AGM, Sam has very kindly offered to remove the pitch. He will need help to remove the old shockpad, so please look for announcements of help needed at the end of July, beginning of August.

So contracts have yet to be signed, I am finalising line markings and working out how to get the money from EHB and National Hockey Foundation.
