Huge Thanks and Kudos to the work teams

The great news is that we have done it, the pitch is clear and I believe the contractors have started laying the new rubber shock pad. Evening all, Bad light stopped play tonight due to the floodlights not working, so we still need some more help Monday night. Massive thanks to the big turnout tonight, especially given the awful weather. The final countdown….

Massive thanks to everyone who has been down to the pitch over the past two weeks. We need one final push to get the remaining shock pad off the pitch before the contractors start on Monday. So the plan is to start work at 5pm this Sunday. Charles Lawrence are lending us a powered blower to clean up the old tarmac/sand/rubber crumb.
