The new shockpad is going down, the turf is ready and waiting. Going to be a great new season, at Leeds Adel Hockey Club here in Leeds. Lights and changing room upgrades are moving on a pace. Training has started, so if you’ve not been down pre season fitness is Thursdays and hockey on Tuesdays at GSAL until our pitch is ready.
The great news is that we have done it, the pitch is clear and I believe the contractors have started laying the new rubber shock pad. So on behalf of everyone at Adel Hockey and AWMA can I say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has helped and especially Sam “How Hard can it Be?” Ransley for the heavy machinery. Sadly we didn’t get enough numbers down tonight, sterling efforts from everyone who was there right up until 10pm means we are SO close to finishing this. Evening all, Bad light stopped play tonight due to the floodlights not working, so we still need some more help Monday night. Massive thanks to the big turnout tonight, especially given the awful weather.
