We have four exciting roles that we’re currently looking to fill on our committee of volunteers.
The New Year is a great time to set a resolution or two – why not add volunteering at Adel to yours?
Specific roles we’re looking to fill currently are:
Umpire Coordinator – Ensuring matches are allocated suitable volunteers from our bank of umpires. Weekly commitment ~1 hour during the winter season.
Teas Coordinator – Tasked with organising match teas each week during the winter season. Weekly commitment ~1 hour.
Media Officer – Keep our social media pages up to date – and perhaps develop our media offering further Weekly commitment ~1 hour.
Diversity and Inclusivity Officer – Promote inclusive values across the club, work with members and other stakeholders right through to England Hockey to make Adel as safe and welcoming a place as possible!
As the club grows in size, we’re also looking for a second Welfare Officer. We’re looking for some to help:
Ensure that all people are safe and supported in their time with Leeds Adel Hockey Club.
Be a contact point for any player or parent in the youth section and provide an intermediary between players and coaches.
Ensure all people working with minors have the correct qualifications and certifications including DBS clearance.
Work with the coaches and parents to develop youth to senior team pathways within Leeds Adel Hockey Club, providing a strong link to the Adult playing sections.
Liaise with the Club Captains to ensure people are safe and secure in the senior playing and coaching, and social environments.
If you are interested in any of the roles contact mail@leedsadelhockey.co.uk or speak to Sam Jackson or Ross Nichols.
