The Men’s 3rd team currently reside in Yorkshire Division 2 after being promoted into the league after the 21/22 season. The previous season also saw a successful campaign in the Tier 4 National Cup, reaching the quarter finals after some competitive games against strong oppsition. Whilst the squad did not make it the whole way, they were recognised for their commitment and effort by being named club team of the year at the end of season awards. This season has welcomed some new faces whilst giving former players the chance to challenge themselves in the 1s and 2s. Despite the change in personel, the 3s have adapted well and are currently sitting comfortably in their new league, with the aim to finish the season off strongly in a mid-table spot.
There is a strong equal balance between competitive hockey and a social atmosphere. The 3s have popularised the Poulet social, which we hope to traditionalise in future years.
