After 12 years hard graft Mr Poll has decided enough is enough and has stepped down as 6th XI captain.
This leaves a massive pair of shoes to be filled, who is up to the task?
Sadly without any volunteers I fear that we will have to revert to 5 mens teams at the club, which will be a shame given all my efforts to get the pitch, floodlights and changing rooms improved.
So please would someone volunteer to be captain. With selection meetings on Monday I think the job became a whole lot easier last season and we intend to keep doing this going forwards.
