Leeds Adel Hockey club have a long tradition of playing masters hockey, and have recently fully embraced the new YNE Masters leagues and representative hockey.
In the 23/24 season our Mens’ O40s squad made it to the last 16 of the EH Tier 2 National Championship and hope to keep building on their performances. To join their ranks please get in touch with Rich Partner.
Ladies masters (over 35 team) have played the last few years during the ladies summer league and will enter a team in the England Hockey Masters Cup in the upcoming season. A very social atmosphere and following on from our under 10s team named after wild big cats (Tigers, Lions, Panthers, Pumas, Cheetahs) they are nicknamed the Adel Cougars!
We hope to raise the profile of the Ladies masters team in the 24/25 season with some friendlies as well as our cup games. Our captain Mary would love to hear from you if you’re interested in playing.
Across the years Adel have had players selected to represent the over 35s (including the captaincy), over 40s, over 45s, over 50s and over 70s. We also had players representing England, Scotland and Wales.
