End of Season Dinner 🥂🧡
If you’re not already aware, we’ve secured a deal with The Village in Headingley to host our prestigious event for this season.
THINGS FOR YOU TO DO:
1). Sign up for your place and choose your menu for EOSD using the Google form on the email or the facebook event.
2). Pay your ticket price to the club account with “EOSD (your name)” as the reference. We will use the club account to figure out who’s paid so this bit is very important!!
Your Social Sec team are conscious that these events can be a pricey endeavour, so we have ensured complete transparency for costings so you can see where your money is going:
Price breakdown (per person):
– £23 for set starter and Main course menu
– £15 for wine / beer on arrival AND 1/2 bottle wine per person at the table
– £3 for DJ
– £2 for Magic Mirror (photo booth type-situation with printouts)
= £43 total for adults
= £28 for U18s (£43 – alcohol)- We have also laid out an alternative payment option on the Google form

Meat Menu
Starter: Pressed Ham Hock Terrine with piccalilli dressing and toasted bread
Main: Butter roasted Turkey breast breast, garlic roast potatoes, sage stuffing, Cumberland twists, seasonal vegetables and grain mustard sauce
Veggie Menu
Starter: Warm Butternut squash and feta tart with red pesto mayonnaise and baby leaf salad
Main: Oyster mushroom and asparagus risotto topped with a rocket and lemon salad and truffle oil
Extra Points
– If you are paying for multiple people, please make separate payments with their name in the reference so that we can track who’s paid.
– The club do not make any money from this event, all payments go straight to the venue.
– More details such as start times to be released in the coming months.
– Try and keep the day of 11th May free, there will be a club ‘muck in’ day up at the pitch and lots of teams will run their own daytime activities before the event.Any questions regarding the event / payment / anything else, let us know:

Hockey Heroes ❤️🦸💙
Adel Fete 🧁 🍰
This years Adel Fete will take place on Sunday 23rd June from 10am – 6pm. We are looking for volunteers to help on the day in various roles, including: running hockey taster sessions, helping to organise children’s races, car park marshalling, BBQ, bouncy castle etc. You do not need to be available for the whole day, even an hour is much appreciated!
We also need donations of cakes for the cake stall and tombola. Cakes should be home made with a list of ingredients and need to be dropped off at the club on Saturday 22nd in the evening!

Umpiring and Coaching Opportunities
As always we are on the hunt for more volunteers!
Umpiring requires you to complete a course (which can be done online!) and will be funded by the club.
The club is also able to help fund the cost of coaching courses, and we are always looking for more coaches across the club!

Google forms for summer league sign up will be sent out to Adel members at the end of February. You do not need to email Charlotte to sign up.
England Hockey – Membership Survey for Players
We are looking at how we can improve and add more value to your membership with England Hockey.
For us to deliver this, we’d appreciate your support to fill in a short survey to help us understand attitudes and opinions to improved service from England Hockey for players.
The survey should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete.
Please make sure you add your email at the end of the survey for your chance to be one of five lucky winners to get either a new Mizuno GB replica shirt or two blue tickets for the home FIH Pro League match of your choice this June.
England Hockey – Ball Patrol
Applications are still open for 15–18-year-olds to be part of the Ball Patrol team for home GB matches at next summer’s FIH Pro League in June 2024.
