Senior matches and training take place on the grounds of the Adel War Memorial Association (AWMA), Church Lane, Adel, Leeds. The pitch is a high-quality sand-dressed FIH-approved surface in excellent working order. Floodlighting was upgraded in 2021 to LED, and we proudly have the biggest and best dugouts in the region.
The pitch is within the beautiful surroundings of the Adel Conservation Area – offering a countryside feel to a city-based hockey club.
Changing rooms are available on-site, with all after-match hospitality provided at AWMA Clubhouse, along with hot food provided for both home and away teas. We are currently raising funds for a new changing room development, read more here.
Junior training and matches also take place at Adel.
All players are registered members of the AWMA, receiving member prices at the bar, and visiting teams are welcomed after matches.
The bar has 3 areas to view Sky Sports events after matches and during the week, along with a range of local hand-pulled beverages. Weekly quizzes, and other regular social events makes the clubhouse a vibrant place to be each and every day.
