Half term report

Only a handful of games last weekend with same table top clashes to excite the crowds, raise the tempo and act as an aperitif to the main event of the day which was the Christmas social. Thanks to Phil and Gaby for managing to organise everyone. The mens 5s had an early start with an away trip to Airedale who are desperately playing as many home games as they can before Christmas due to their Read more…

Mens mid season review

Mid season update from Mens Club Captain, Paul Lewis As we approach the festive season, it seems appropriate to give you all an update on our season so far. The motorway travel conditions were treacherous and whilst others may have been put off, this only made the team more determined to make the fixture. Needless to say the full squad of 15 players, 1 coach, 1 Read more…

Brrr……

On a day which saw horrendous weather conditions for players, umpires, spectators it seemed wholly appropriate that we went into battle against teams from Brrrridlington and Brrrrrigg. The top 3 ladies teams all came away victorious, scoring an impressive 16 goals between them.  The surprise perhaps was that only 1 was scored by the ladies 1s but it was enough to return from Hull with 3 points and maintain the 100% record for the season.  Read more…
