Adel Reach Winning Milestone With Derby Victory

Men’s 2nd XI away day to Sunny Scunny (Brigg 2’s (A))

The longest away game of the season and playing a team the 2’s often struggle against was the treat bestowed upon the Men’s 2’s on the opening day of the season by the Yorkshire Hockey Association. Didsbury Greys- 5 Leeds Adel- 5

Adel hit the road and travelled across the top for the first of several trips to Manchester this season, Didsbury Greys providing the opposition. The usual suspects were joined by a few notable new additions who made their league debut. The first weekend of the league season saw all ten Adel teams in action and the new goals at the Adel astro continued to be well and truly tested.  39 goals for Adel (30 at home!) in total and 25 conceded with the star performers of the day the new kids on the block.
