Points lost but lessons learned

Junior 8pm training off 5th Jan 2018

Sorry, the weather gods are against us again, the pitch is already starting to freeze and the 7pm U14s are finding it slippy, so we are going to have to call off the 8pm training again I’m afraid! It’s just too risky both from girls slipping over but also the ball can bounce high and fast off a frozen pitch.

Mens 5s in funtastic festive friendly

With less than 48 hours before Santa’s arrival, the mens 5th team were poised and ready to begin their Christmas shopping.   But then somebody organised a friendly “Dads, Lads & Lasses” hockey match, and all hopes of spending a pleasant Saturday afternoon in the queue at Primark had to be abandoned.   Duty calls.  Also calling were mince pies and pale ale in the club house. Mid season update
