Last weekend big bens men effectively won the league after having gained promotion without hitting a ball. The long away trip to Leeds was particularly enjoyable given the brilliant following we took with us. It was the final week of the Yorkshire U14 girls league on Sunday and Adel had morning and afternoon fixtures with both our 1st and 2nd XI playing a 3 match round robin series in their respective leagues. An exciting day of Hockey at Adel on 25th February culminated in the match that the 4s had signposted since mid – December, 1st vs 2nd, with promotion, potentially a title on the line.
